It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Elizabeth Quigley announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday June 5th, 2013 in her 89th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving children: Roy (Betty), Jerry (Debbie), Bert (Betty), Fred, Patsy (Don Conant), Dianne (Larry Murphy), Brian (Shelly), Paulette (Gerald Matthews); 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Mildred McCarthy, Sadie O’Keefe and Marie Bennett; brothers: Bernard, Joseph, Jerome and Kevin, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her special canine companion Emmy. She was predeceased by her loving husband Patrick; her infant son Kevin; grand-daughter Sharon; parents Theresa and William; sisters: Rosie, Alita and Alvina; brothers: Harold, Francis, Leon and Gerald. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday June 8th and Sunday, June 9th between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer and Immaculate Conception, Mount Bernard Ave on Monday, June 10th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
