It is with great sadness that the family of the late Freeman Pittman announce his passing on Friday, June 7th, 2013 from the Western Memorial Hospital Palliative Care unit in Corner Brook at the age of 68. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 45 years Bernice, children: Kirk (Ada), Lorie (Gilbert), Earl (Crystal), Deon (Stephanie), grandchildren: Brittany, Abigail, Cole, Rhiannon, Rachel, Rasara, Brandon, Connor, 1 great grandchild to arrive in September, sisters and brothers: Mary, Marie (Arthur), beloved twin brother Tom (Melvina), 4 very special nephews: Warrick, Cordell, Dale and Dana, mother in law Madeline Bungay, brothers in law: Stanley (Alfreda), Wade (Donna), Kevin (Wanda), Scott (Tracey) and Ben, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas SR and Bertha Pittman, father in law Lester Bungay, sister Effie Combdon and brother in law Garland Combdon. Friends may visit St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Jacksons Arm on Monday, June 10th, from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 2PM with Rev. Marlaine Leggo officiating. Interment to follow at the new Anglican Cemetery in Jacksons Arm. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
