It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Jones announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 9th, 2013 at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious ­memories: her loving husband of 62 years, Jim; her children: Sheila (Calvin), Don, Frank, Annette (Reg), Jim and Michelle; special granddaughter, Kelly (Chris); grandchildren: Krista (Chris), Jamie, Debbie (O.J.) and Ashley (Trevor); great-grandchildren: Rebecca, Abby, Bailey, Hunter, Brooke, Desirae, Rihanna, Claire and Ashton; siblings: Richard, Loretta and Pauline (Pat), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her infant son, Donald; parents: Frank and Lucy Ann Gardiner; brothers: Reginald, Jim, Ray and Clarence; sisters: Mary Susan, Jane and Sister Imelda (Sisters of the Precious Blood). Visitation took place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Tuesday, June 11th and Wednesday, June 12th. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Sacred Heart RC Parish, Curling, today, June 13th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Father Don Leonard. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of ­sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
