It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cynthia “Cindy” Marie O’Quinn (nee Hynes) announce her sudden passing at her residence in Stephenville on Wednesday, June 12 at the age of 52 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Brendan, 3 daughters: Hope (Nelson) Hynes, grandson, Peyton who she loved dearly, Holly (Johnny) Hynes, Alison (Jamie) Burton, granddaughter, Jalyn and one son, Clinton O’Quinn; special nieces: Terry Smith and Rosella White. Also leaving to mourn are her 3 sisters: Annie (Ron) Pine, Jessie (John) Snook, Alice Hynes and 4 brothers: Jim (Hazel) Hynes, John (Louise) Hynes, Richard (Judy) Hynes, Raymond (Beth) Hynes and sister-in-law, Nina Hynes. She was predeceased by her brother, Henry Hynes and 2 sisters, Carmelita Walsh and Pauline Hynes. There is a large circle of relatives and friends who will also cherish her memory. She will be always remembered by her kindness, thoughtfulness, her wonderful sense of humour and her bright smile. Cindy faced a few challenges in the last few years but persevered through enormous support of her loving husband, her special daughters, family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all of us. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 14th from 7-9 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville.
