Valda Bourque
BOURQUE, VALDA - Valda Bourque, 78, of Moncton, passed away on Monday June 17, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on April 4, 1935 in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Obéline (Leblanc) Daigle. Valda was a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Golden Age Club. Her favorite pastimes were playing cards and gardening. She is survived by her husband for 57 years, Norman; one daughter, Janice Mole (Kevin) of Fredericton; two sons: Maurice (Annette) of Riverview and Donald (Brenda) of Moncton; one sister, Alfreda Collette (Gérard) of Dieppe; four brothers: Coral (late Janet) and Geoffre (Emilie), both of Moncton, Norman (Edith) of Hartford, CT, and Donald (Jeannita) of Sainte-Marie; six grandchildren: Michael, Denise, Amy, Marc, Danielle and Cara; one great-granddaughter, Nicole; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Jean.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Thursday June 20th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Friday June 21, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium, Moncton.
