It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Sheppard of Brig Bay, NL, announce her passing on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Rufus Ginchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Valerie Combden, Wanda (Terry) Bauld, Naomi (Joe) Canning, Sarah (Gordon) Springle, Kenneth (Sheila), Craig (Gwen), and Jackie (Bud) Critchley; grandchildren Kurt, Dana, Terry, Deidre, Jason, Paul, Tara, Bradley, Kendra, Travis, Tiffany, Adam and Ryan; great-grandchildren Morgan, Logan, Caitlynn, Taylor, Brook, Cally, Kale, Maija, Isabella, Markus, Jordan, Grace, Claire, Kadence, and Tayven; brothers Pierce and Garfield Genge; sister Joanne Sinnicks and a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Pierce, parents Arthur and Sarah Genge, grandson Billy, son-in-law Edward, brothers Emmanuel, Douglas, and George, sisters Rachael, and Lori. Visitation took place at the Church of the Advent in Plum Point on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Harvey and Pastor Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Brig Bay. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
