It is with great sadness that the family of the late Luke Alvin Meryl Park announce his passing on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 61 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 40 years Ivy (Noseworthy); daughters: Candace and Ginger (Joshua LaCosta); grandchildren: Christian and Luke; step-grandchildren: Braden and Breanna; brothers: Llewellyn (Alice), Curtis (Ula), Jim (Gladys), Edward (Abby) and Carson (Kathy); sisters: Maggie (Utley) Brake and Nina Park; brothers-in-law: Lewis Morgan, Cyril (Elsie) Noseworthy, Stewart (Anita) Noseworthy and Roger (Veda) Payne; sister-in-law: Nancy (Gerald) Park, Joan (Russell) Park and Shirley Barnes; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents James and Florence Park; daughter baby girl Park, 1972, sister Inez Morgan, parents-in-law Cedella & Stewart Noseworthy. Friends may visit the Epiphany Anglican Church in McIvers on Saturday from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
