Peacefully at home on Saturday, August 2, 2008, of Mrs. “Mary’’ Virginia MacDonald (nee Falls) of the Norwood Road, Charlottetown. Beloved wife of Charles G. “Charlie’’ MacDonald and the late Frederick Chappell. Loving mother of Carol Chappell (Brian Myers and Gwen (Joseph) Mourad. Mary will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Nouhad, Khalil, Katherine, her brother, Lloyd “Bobby’’ Falls and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her first husband, Frederick Chappell, she was predeceased by her son, Thane Chappell, brothers and sisters; Francis Falls, Billy Falls, John “Shine’’ Falls, Jackie Falls, Gertrude “Whoopsie’’ Diamond and Joan Kennedy. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in the family plot at Highfield Cemetery. If so desired, memorials in Mrs. MacDonald’s memory can be made to the Bedford MacDonald Emergency Shelter Foundation or to the Palliative Care - Home Care Support Organization.
