Due to complications, surrounded by his family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, of William Harrison Blackett. Infant son of Scott and Angela (nee DesRoches) Blackett, Little Pond. William Harrison is survived by his brothers, Brandon and Dylan, and by his grandparents, Paul DesRoches, Isabel Daley, Jack and Rhoda Blackett, great-grandparents Edith Blackett (late Winnie Blackett) and Jean Taylor (Murdock Blaxland). Also lovingly remembered by Paul Blackett (Linda Doucette), Wanda (Denton) Ching and Heidi (Troy) Holland. Predeceased by his uncle, Michael DesRoches, great-grandparents James and Winnifred Daley, Judge Sylvere and Florence DesRoches and William Taylor. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Tuesday, then to St. Mary’s Church, Montague, for funeral service for family and close friends at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery.
