The Smith family is sad to announce the passing of Ken while on holiday in North Carolina. Predeceased by his parents, George and Jean Smith. Beloved husband and best friend of Anne-Marie (Roy). Loving brother of Pat Cosh (David). Cherished uncle and godfather of Jason and Tamsyn. Dear brother-in-law of Monique Roy-Knutti (Hans), Andrée (Yvon Rondeau), Jeannine Roy-Fortin, Denise (Jean Huot) and Jean-Guy Roy (Noëlla). He will be sadly missed by friends and diving buddies. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Thursday, August 7, 2008, from 3-4 p.m. A ceremony in his memory will follow at 4 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel. A reception will be held following the service. His interment will be at a later date in Prince Edward Island. Donations to the kidney foundation or Diver Alert Network (DAN) would be appreciated.
