Gordon Emery “Dub” Crowell, CD - 77, of Wolfville, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Lower Wolfville, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Kathleen (Emery) Crowell. He is survived by his wife, the former Cecile Reaburn; two daughters, Pamela Crowell, Wolfville; Lorrie (Brad) Burke, Central Onslow; a son, Gordie (Rosaline), Hantsport; two sisters, Jean Manning, Kentville; Judy (Jon) Rand, Port Williams; two grandchildren, Christine and Ryan; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters, Eunice, Marjorie, Vivian and Pauline; two brothers, Edward and Wayne. Cremation has taken place. There was no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Mr. Marshall Schofield officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses or the Valley Regional Hospital Palliative Care.
