Lillian Woolley

NEW GLASGOW – Lillian Margueritte “Lilly” Woolley, 88, New Glasgow and formerly of Telford, passed away peacefully Monday, June 24, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Sinclair and Maimie (Simpson) Browning. She was a member of the former French River Presbyterian Church, French River. Lilly enjoyed the outdoors and cooking. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Surviving are her son, Phillip “Phil” (Lynne) Browning, Telford; brother, Fred (Dorothy) Simpson, Linacy; granddaughter, Lori (Paul) Atta, Thorburn and their children, Devyn and Kelton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Jackson, Cassie Woolley, Edith MacLaren and brother, Gordon Browning.
There will be no visitation by Lilly’s request. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Telford Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Lackie, officiating.
