It is with great sadness that the family of Maisie Rowena Carberry announce her passing surrounded by her loving family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday June 25, 2013 at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 62 years Fred Carberry; children: Fred (Nancy) Carberry, Maisie (Ron) Targett, David (Elaine) Carberry, Perry Carberry, Andrea Bennett; grandchildren: John (Cindy) Carberry, Nancy (Adrien) McMaster, Neil (Aisha) Targett, Allen Targett, Michael (Suellen) Carberry, Michelle Carberry, April (Todd) Young; great grandchildren: Tyler Young, Chelsea Young; sister Sheila Braden; brothers: Jim Beck, Neil Beck, Wilfred Beck, Pastor Franklin (Diane) Beck; in-laws: Thelma Beck, Olga Beck, Frank Carberry, George (Marcella) Carberry, Ross (Audrey) Carberry, Frances (Al) Robbins, Vera (Frank) Colson, Barbara (Don) Kavanagh; special nieces: Laura Kennedy, Glenda Carberry, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents Heber & Dorcas Beck, grandchild Robin Carberry, son-in-law Melvin Bennett, brothers Derek Beck, Ross Beck, and sister Sylvia (Max) Carberry, in-laws Jane Beck, Martin (Pearl) Carberry, Ruby Carberry, and Jean (Gar) Hillier. Family and friends may visit at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday June 26, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday June 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Association.
