It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY MURPHY of South East Bight, NL, announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Husband Martin of 57 years; Sons – Joseph, Martin Jr., Gerard & Dave (Margaret Halleran), all of South East Bight; Sisters – Theresa (Mike) Martin of Placentia, Florence (Donald) Lake of South East Bight & Ann (Raymond) O’Toole of Jerseyside; Sister-in-law – Margaret Whyte of South East Bight; Brothers – William (Mary) Whyte, John (Kathleen) Whyte, Patrick (Clara) Whyte & Anthony (Matilda) Whyte, all of South East Bight; 6 Grandchildren – Holly, David Jr., Samantha, Victoria, Katelynn & Maggie; Special friends – Cindy & Jessie; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her Parents – Patrick & Mary Agnes Whyte, Son – Patrick Murphy & Brother – Vincent Whyte.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Saturday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m., from St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in South East Bight. Interment followed at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Mary’s memory flowers gratefully accepted.
