MULLINS, LILY - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Lily Mullins, age 82, of Port Elgin. Lily passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, she was raised by the late Hannah (Johnson) and Bill Smith. She was a member of the Anglican Church. Lily was always on the go, and often found out for a walk. She loved to socialize, talk on the phone, and promote the connections within her family circle. Irish music and tending to her pets were important to her. Though her life seemed full of ailments, she remained strong and stayed active. She will be dearly missed by three daughters, Linda (Wayne) Jones and Cheryl Mullins, both of Port Elgin, and Lorna (Gary) Sullivan, of Moncton; one son, Tony (Meaghan Linton), Port Elgin; four grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Clay and Rhiannon; four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jonathan, Brayden and Hannah. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor; and brother, Kenneth Rheubottom.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones family at Jones Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at the Jones Funeral Centre, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241) on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
