LUKE, RITA E. - Rita E. Luke, formerly of Cork, York County, NB passed away June 28, 2013 at Pine Grove, Fredericton, NB. Rita was born in Fredericton, NB in 1922, a daughter of the late Frank Patrick and Mary Elizabeth (Driscoll) Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Theodore Luke, her son, Joseph Francis Luke, a sister, Florence Doherty and a brother, Vincent King.
Visitation will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on July 1, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2448 Route 645,Cork, NB on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Owen Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Cork Cemetery.
