MEUNIER, PIERRE "PETER" ALFRED - 1945 - 2013 - Pierre "Peter" A. Meunier of Riverview passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Monday, July 1, 2013. He was born in Montréal, QC, later moved to New Brunswick where he was employed with M.E.T.S (Moncton Employment Training Services) for over 10 years. Pierre loved spending time with family and also enjoyed conversations with his friends down at Tim Horton’s. He was an avid sports fan who faithfully cheered on the Montréal Canadiens season after season and in his younger years coached hockey himself, being the first coach for the NB Women’s Hockey Team. He will be dearly missed by his daughters, Susan Davies (Dan) of Grimsby, ON; Krista (Mark) Spence of Riverview; son, Scott Meunier (Melissa) of Riverview; and his five grandchildren, Austin, Daniel, Madison, Connor and Audrey. Pierre was predeceased by his wife, Linda (Munn) on December 7, 1994; sister, Michelle; and brother, André.
The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel at 1pm with Father Charlie Broderick officiating.
