It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sheila Froud announce her peaceful passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Steward (Neta), Joyce (Shawn) Wells, Elizabeth (Brian) Bennett, Tom (Lorna) and Joe (Kathy); grandchildren: Keith (Ashley), Angela (Dave), Vanessa (Justin), Heather (Shamus), Jessica (Joey), Samantha and Zachery; Grammy’s 2 boys: Kyle and Ashton; 8 step-grandchildren; siblings: Madeline, Eileen, Joe, Mickey, Frank and Annie; special cousin Joan King, as well as many nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Ben Froud (2002); parents John & Ann McCarthy; parents-in-law Ben & Kate Froud; brothers: Danny, Jack and infant brother Jimmy; sisters: Mary and Dot; brother and sister-in-law Vera & Melvin Froud and nephew Richard. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Major Raymond Janes officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
