GREEN, “JOE” RONALD W. – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joe Green, husband of Sheila (Flavin) Green announces his passing on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John on April 22, 1957, he was a son of the late Gerald and Nancy (Fitzgerald) Green. Joe was a family man that could be found driving around, spending time with his many friends, talking about cars, or having the occasional nap. He will especially be missed by his grandchildren; they couldn’t wait to spend time with him every day. Besides his wife, Joe is survived by his daughters: Carrie (Greg), Krysta (Clint), and Jennifer (Jason); son, Ronald “B.J.” (Jami); brother, Ian (Judy); sister, Debbie Hanson (Chris); 9 grandchildren and one on the way; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Donald and Mark.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
