Patricia Anne “Pat” Swineamer, 71, of Centre Burlington, Hants Co., Nova Scotia, formerly of Charlottetown, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 7, 2008, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, Nova Scotia, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 11, 1937, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, she was the daughter of the late Annie Lillian (Nicholson) MacRae-Cudmore. Pat was a real estate agent in Hants County for over 20 years. She was also the Municipality of the District of West Hants 2008 Representative Volunteer. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Harold Thomas Swineamer; her daughters, Cherilyn “Sheri” (Gary) MacIntosh, Lwr. Sackville; Heather (Victor) Foley, Big Valley, Alberta; Karen Swineamer (Wade Caldwell), Windsor; grandchildren, Christopher and Ryan MacIntosh; Jeffrey, Victor and Brittni Foley; Sarah Payzant; great-grandchildren, Kyuss, Joshwa, Brian and Charisma; siblings, Tim (Lottie) MacRae, Charlottetown, P.E.I.; Wilma (John) Juurlink, New Glasgow; Donald (Katie) MacRae, Jacksonville, Florida. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Henry Nelson MacRae; and her younger brother, Samuel Lyall MacRae. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at her request. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, 194 King Street, Windsor, with Pastor Craig Faulkner officiating.
