The death occurred peacefully at the Riverview Manor in Montague on Sunday, August 10, 2008, of Velma Belle Falloon (nee Thorpe) in her 87th year. Wife of the late John Falloon and Felix Morrison. Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Jane Thorpe, three sisters and one brother. Survived by many friends and in-laws. Remains resting at St. Georges Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges, for visitation Tuesday, August 12, 2008, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Cardigan. Interment in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Donations in Velma’s memory may be made to the Riverview Manor to refurnish the family room.
