Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital, Brookfield on July 2, 2013 Hubert John White age 88 years of Pool’s Island. Predeceased by his parents; Samuel and Ethel (nee Dyke) White-Dalton, step-father; John Dalton, 2 sisters; Jean White, Elsie Dyke, brother; Gerald White and step sister-in-law; Marjorie Dalton. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Annie, sons; Samuel (Rose) of Consecon, Ontario, Raymond (Anne) of St. John’s, daughter; Shirley Knight (Douglas) of Pouch Cove, step-brother; Frederick Dalton of Toronto, Ontario, brother-in-law; Percy Hoyles (Marguerite) of St. John’s , grandchildren; Paula (Rob), Penny (J.J), David (Crystal), Holly (Jonathan), Meghan (Shawn), Justin (Alison) , Doug (Gina), great-grandchildren; Jonathan, David, Devan, Aliyah, Mya, Cole, Felicity, Patrick, Allison, Heather and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held on July 5, 2013 at St. James Anglican Church, Pool’s Island with Rev. Roy Martin officiating. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Pool’s Island.
