Marny Daffner, aged 65 years, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice in Kamloops, B.C. on July 7, 2013.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard and children Brenton (Cheryl) Daffner of Amherst, Virginia and Amanda (Geordie) Erickson of Red Deer, Alberta and sister Shirley (Richard) Wear of Red Deer, AB. She had a very special place in her heart for her grandchildren Erich, Bailey and Ryan Daffner and Alexandria and Kiefer Erickson as well as her many friends whom she cherished deeply.

Marny was born and raised in Penticton, B.C. and moved to Ashcroft, B.C. where she met and married Richard and raised her family. They relocated to Kamloops where she spent many hours tending to her garden and flowers.

Marny was predeceased by her mother Rosa and father George as well as her sister Ruby Jean.

A Celebration of Marny's life will be held at Schoening Funeral Services on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 3:00 p.m.
