Clara Christene Stewart, 71 of Scotsburn, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her family at her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late James and Anna (Shaw) Langille.
Clara was a loving mother and grandmother and was always there for her family. She will be greatly missed. Clara enjoyed cooking, gardening, doing jigsaw puzzles and Sudoku.
She is survived by her husband Austin; daughters, Lynn Stewart, Lorraine (Tim) VanVeen; grandchildren, Britney and Cody VanVeen; brother, Bill (Betty) Langille, all of Scotsburn; nephews, Shaun Langille, Tyler Hughes and niece Terra Hughes.
No visitation by request. A private family service will be held in McLaren Funeral Chapel, Pictou with Rev. Barb Fotheringham officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
