Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home in Carbonear on July 11, 2013, Mary “Margaret” Fewer of Brigus, aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband, Frederick Fewer and partner, Ralph Hazeltine, son Frederick Fewer Jr, daughter-in-law Sharon Fewer, granddaughter Kayla Fewer, sister Frances (Vincent) Fitzgerald, brother William (Beatrice) Fowler, brother-in-law Abraham Smith. Leaving to mourn are her daughters: Christine (Leo) Kennedy, Eileen (Jordan) Sparkes, Bride (Clyde) Sparkes, Theresa (Bill King), Madonna (John) Walsh, Geraldine (Frank) Boland, Beverly (Burry) Mitchell; sons: Joseph, Martin (Nancy), Edward (Jackie); 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters: Sarah (Bill) Barron, Eileen Smith; brothers: Gerald Fowler, Ron (Bev) Tucker, Bob Tucker; sister-in-law Mary Fewer and sister-in-law and special friend, Lydia Fewer; dear friends Edward and Patsy Dowen; her little companion, Cuddles. Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 2-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, 2013 from 10 a.m.to 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church, Brigus with interment to follow in the R.C.
