It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick Joseph Kearney announce his passing at the Health Sciences Complex, St. John’s on Friday July 12, 2013 at the age of 73 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his beloved wife of 44 years, Edna (nee:Eales); son Patrick Jr. (Janice); grandchildren: Joshua, Chelsea and Matthew; brother Jack; sisters: Ann, Lucy, Rose, Catherine, Dorothy and Stella, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: John and Catherine Kearney; daughter Laura (1972); son Ronald (2004); brothers: Bill, Tom, Gordon and Matt. At Patrick’s request cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday July 15, 2013 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place from the Sacred Heart Parish, Curling on Tuesday July 16, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. with Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
