It is with saddened hearts we regret to announce the peaceful passing of Lydia Hiscock, from Sunnyside, aged 105 years and 10 months at the Dr. Albert O'Mahony Manor Clarenville on July 7, 2013 . Predeceased by husband, George and daughter, Norma. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her daughters, Alvina (husband deceased), Laura (Nathan Smith), Lucy (Eliab Smith) Evelyn (Wesley Stringer); sons, Lloyd (Pearl), Cyril (Bella), Winston (Grace); 33 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; 27 great great grandchildren; sister, Rita Jacobs; son-in-law, Samuel Tawney and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at St. Andrews Anglican Church Sunnyside from where the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Alwin Reid took place on July 10, 2013 with interment following at the Pentecostal cemetery, Sunnyside.
