OLSEN, ADOLF FRANDE - Fred (Adolf) Olsen of Gagetown, NB, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Oromocto Public Hospital at the age of 82. He was born in Germany and came to New Brunswick as a child. Fred moved to the Village of Gagetown where he resided with the DeLong family most of his life prior to becoming a resident of the Gagetown Special Care Home in 2000. Fred was a great helping hand and friend to Wilfred and Charlotte Hiscock. He is survived by many friends in the Village of Gagetown.
There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held at the Upper Hampstead Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Gerald Nickerson will officiate. For those who wish, donations in Fred's name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a charity of donor's choice. Services have been entrusted to the Oromocto Funeral Home, www.oromoctofh.com, 357-5100. Many thanks to the past and present management and staff of the Gagetown Special Care Home where Fred resided for the past 13 years.
