Mabel Evelyn Code of Ditton Park, SK, passed away on Monday, July 15th, 2013 at 90 years of age.

She is survived by her children Janet Evelyn of Kamloops, B.C., and Danny James (Twyla) of Pinantan Lake, B.C., as well as many grandchildren.

Mabel is predeceased by her loving husband James "Harvey" Code, sister Jennie Barks of Carrot River, SK, Velda Parrent of Penticton, B.C., and George Cragg of Carrot River, SK.

Mabel was from Carrot River, Saskatchewan. In 1941, she met and married Harvey in Port Kells. The most cherished memories were the days spent on the farm with Harvey from 1965 - 1990 in Magna Bay, B.C., Line 17 Rd. She had a true love of her faith and a loving guidance for her Delamae children. Mabel was always their for those who needed a safe haven. God speed Mom.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. James Howie and the 3rd floor staff at the Ponderosa Lodge for their heartfelt care.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Teri Meyer officiating.
