It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell James Pottle announce his peaceful passing at his family residence on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the age of 76 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his with Marie of 55 years; sons: Shawn (Roberta), Byron (Terri-Lynn), Sheldon (Katie), Bobby (Sheri); daughters: Sheila Park, Beverly (Don) Connolly; brothers: William Snow, Albert Lacey; sister Jean Leary; brothers-in-law: Ronald Sheppard, Paul Sheppard; sister-in-law Elizabeth Pennell; grandchildren: Cory (Melanie), Christa (Kenneth), Angela (Jamie), Nicole (Matthew), Joanna (Jeremy), Nathaniel, Ashley (Brad), Evan, Chloe, Emma, Noah, Brandon, Kaylee, Dylan; great grandchildren: Adam, Ava, Kendall, Jacob, Luke, Carly, Landon; special care worker Bonnie Sheppard, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by: parents Noah & Hazel Pottle, parents-in-law Stephen & Georgina Sheppard, grandson Adam Connolly, son-in-law Gary Park, sister and brother-in-law Raymond & Sylvia Gilbert. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Friday, July 19, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from the St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Nelson Chatman officiating. Interment to follow at church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund or a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or memorial donations may be made by visiting our website at www.country-haven.ca.
