Suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, of Foster Leroy Wagner, Freeland, aged 78 years, husband of Lillian (Walfield). Born on March 6, 1935, he was the son of William and Inez (Murphy) Wagner. Loving father to Wendell (Nancy), Dorothy (Dave) Hill, Leonard (Terry), Darlene (Richard), Stephen (Kathy), Donna (Alan) O'Brien, Kevin (Wendy), Shelly (Greg). Dear grandfather to 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Foster is also survived by brothers and sisters: Audrey (John) Barlow, Sadie, Jessie (Kenny), Patsy (Richard) Bulger, Gerald (Debbie Cooke), Arnold (Judy) and Peter (Lillian). He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Dianne Shirley, sisters Phyllis, Gertie, Jean and brother Lester.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with private family visiting by personal request. The public funeral will be held on Saturday, July 20, in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Ellerslie. In memory of Foster, memorials to St John's Anglican Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
