It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest Randell MacKenzie announce his passing on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Western Memorial Hospital in his 79th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Effie; son, Greg (Deborah) and daughter Deborah Jacobs (George); grandsons: Kyle Jacobs (Lene) and Brandon MacKenzie; sisters: Helen Walsh, Lovlett Rumbolt; sisters-in-law: Olive and Florence; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John & Lillian; brothers: Milton (Sophie), Emmanuel (Ivy), Collin, Calvin, Samuel (Ada) and sister, Sadie Murphy (Tom). Friends may visit on Monday at 12 Noon - 2:00 p.m., where also a memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake, with Bishop Donald Young officiating.
