It is with great sadness that the family of the late Julia McLean announces her sudden and peaceful passing at her home on Bell Island on the 19th of July, 2013 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents Eugene and Sarah (Quigley) Kelly; Sisters Mary and Betty, and brother Jack. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 60 years, Bill; children, William (Trudy), Margaret (Jack), Paula Marie, Sharon, Sean (Pauline), Bernadette and Sheree (Rick). Grandchildren; Chantal, Nicole, Megan, Julia, Alaina, Sean William, Lisa, Ashely, Sharon and Luke. Great Grandchildren; Joaquin, Cole, Benjamin, Harper and soon to be baby girl Mya. Sisters Catherine, Agnes and Virginia. Brothers Eugene and Ignatius (Dorothy). Sisters-in-law Margaret McLean, Philomena Nolan and Anne McLean. Brother-in-law Doug O’Neil. Also leaving to mourn a number of extended family and friends. Resting at Pendergasts Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation to take place on Sunday, July 21st from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m.. Monday, July 22nd from 12-4 and 6-9 p.m.. Tuesday, July 23rd 12-1 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday, July 23rd at 2 p.m. from St. Michael’s Church, Bell Island with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic in lieu of flowers.
