It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and Mémé, Anne Marie Curley, of Edmonton and formerly of Brookvale. She died on July 18, 2013, at the Edmonton General Hospice at the age of 73, after a valiant battle with cancer. Anne Marie is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Curley ,and devoted children, Darlene (Glen), Denise (John), Dianne (Doug) and Donna (Michael). Anne Marie was the world’s greatest Mémé to Angela, Holly, Madison, Caitlyn and Zoey. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, John (Marliss), Cecilia (Fred), Joe (Doreen), Janet, Bernice (Dolor), Theresa (Roger), Nancy (Larry); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom she adored. She was predeceased by her only son, Michael; her sister, Anita; and her parents, Emile and Mary Ellen Gallant (nee Martin) of Tignish P.E.I. Visitation will take place at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, on Thursday, July 25, 2013, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Celebration of funeral mass will be at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Kelly’s Cross, P.E.I., on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
