The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family with much courage and dignity, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, of Arleen Latorraca-Walsh, age 57 years. Beloved wife of Ivan. Devoted and loving mother to Alison, Keith and Andrea. Dear sister of Maria. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sister Eileen Walsh, Bernice McIsaac, Mary Pagé, Anna Nabuurs, Pauline Walsh, Louis Walsh and Pius Walsh. She will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Madeline and Frank Latorraca; her sister, Esther; and her brother-in-law, Albert Walsh. Funeral Saturday at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus, with funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Parkdale. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Pat and The Elephant or Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Jenkins Funeral Home, Millview.
