McLAUGHLAN, BRIAN - The death of Brian William McLaughlan, age 65, husband of Joy (Fanjoy) McLaughlan, of East Scotch Settlement, NB, occurred by accident, in East Scotch Settlement, on July 22, 2013. He was born September 25, 1947 in Saint John, NB, the son of the late William and Freda (Lamb) McLaughlan. Brian is survived by his wife; son, Allan McLaughlan and Dawn Miller of Saint John; daughters: Nancy McLaughlan of East Scotch Settlement and Heather and Kevin Bernard of Sussex; grandchildren: Naika, Nathan, Colton, Maddy, Miya and Robert; sisters: Marlene and Bruce Wagstaff of East Scotch Settlement, Sandra and Richard Green of White’s Cove, and Elaine McLaughlan and Tom Belyea of East Scotch Settlement; Aunts: Dina and Norman Dykeman of Jemseg, and Elizabeth McLaughlan of Jemseg; brother-in-law, Burpee and Marilyn Fanjoy of Waterborough; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre, (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Thursday, July 25, 2013, from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Kings Kirk United Church, Belleisle Creek, NB, at 11:00 am, on Friday, July 26, 2013. Interment will follow in Stewarton United Cemetery.
