The death occurred at the Andrews of Summerside, on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, of Anne-Marie “Mary” McNeill of Summerside, in her 100th year. Born in Saint-Isidore, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hilaire and Georgina (Brison) Delagarde. Survived by her children Patricia McNeill, Toronto, ON; Dr. Donald (Micaela) McNeill, Maple Ridge, BC; Mary Campbell (Joe Harper), Amherst, NS; Daniel (Annette) McNeill, Fredericton, NB; Janice (Michael) Bruni, Calgary, AB; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Louis Delagarde, Saint-Isidore, NB; sisters Cecile Chiasson, Paquetville, NB; Therese Doyle, St-Adele, QC; brothers and sisters-in-law Margaret Cooke, Summerside; Dorothy McNeill, Toronto, ON; Dr. Hubert (Christine) McNeill, Summerside; Edward (Wilma) McNeill, Sarnia, ON; Florence McNeill, Summerside; Monica McNeill, Summerside; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Francis “Peg” McNeill; brothers Gerald Delagarde and Romeo Delagarde; sisters Julianne Castle and Bernadette Hashie. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Salvation Army Food Bank would be appreciated.
