COBURN, JEAN ELIZABETH - Jean E. Coburn of Harvey, York Co., NB passed away July 26, 2013 at her home. Born in 1922 at Harvey, NB, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Sadie (Swan) Piercy. Jean was a member of Unity Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children, Foster Coburn (Joan), Marie Coburn and Patricia Coburn, all of Harvey, NB and Wayne Coburn, Fredericton, NB; a special friend, Donna Nason, Westfield, NB; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Alice Swan; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roland Coburn; a daughter-in-law, Leila Coburn; two brothers, Walter Piercy and Alec Phillips.
Visiting hours were held at Swan Funeral Home, Harvey Station, NB on Sunday. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Route 3, Harvey, NB on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment at Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Coburn, Ross Coburn, Michael Grieve, Shawn Holland, Jesse Coburn and Justin Coburn.
