WALKER, VELMA MAE - Velma M. Walker of Woodstock, NB passed away July 28, 2013 at Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB. Born in 1920 at Jacksontown, NB, she was a daughter of the late Jasper and Gertrude (Lifford) Good. Velma is survived by one daughter, Carol Graham (Gerald), Skiff Lake, NB; three sons, Arthur Walker, Upper Woodstock, NB, Ralph Walker (Carole), Lower Woodstock, NB and Robert Walker (Janis), Douglas, NB; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank Walker in 1969; a son-in-law, Clifford Graham in 1970; six sisters, Hazel, Mabel, Cora, Verna, Arvilla and Audrey and a brother Guy.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Luke Weaver officiating. A reception will be held at the funeral home followed by interment at Lower Meductic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Walker, Richard Graham, Sachar Dvorkin, Wayne Walker, Malcolm Harris and Paul Durling.
