It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Dunphy announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by three sons: Donald (Carolyn) of Windsor, Ontario, Vincent (Phyllis) of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Stephen (Iris) of Port au Port; seven daughters: Mary (Gerves) Cormier of Kippens, Florence (Dominic) Boulos of Kippens, Diane (Melvin) Lush of Stephenville, Caroloyn (Don) Hart of Minitonas, MB, Joan Dunphy, Grand Prairie, Alberta, Ann (Ivan) Aucoin in Kippens, Lisa Dunphy of Stephenville; one brother, Vincent Russell in Cambridge, Ontario; one sister, Pauline Phillips of Mount Pearl; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a large circle of ­relatives and friends. She was ­predeceased by her husband, Stephen and grandchildren:, Duane and Kyle. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday, July 31st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with cremation to follow. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 2nd at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
