It is with great sadness that the family of the late Boyd Andrew Payne of Port au Choix, NL, announce his passing on Monday, July 29h, 2013 at Torrent River in Hawkes Bay at the age of 67 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Dessa; son Boyd of Gagetown, New Brunswick; daughter Judy (Kurt) of Port au Choix; granddaughters Vanessa and Miranda; brothers Dorman (Judy), Jerry (Gen) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, and Bryant (Denise) of Toronto, Ontario; sister Mary (Harvey) of Cow Head, and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Julie, and brother Norman. Visitation was held at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service took place on Friday, Aug. 2 with Rev. Paulette Bugden and Capt. Rice officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery in Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
