RICHARD, JEAN-GUY - After a long and courageous battle against cancer, it is with great sadness that the family of Jean-Guy Richard announces his passing on July 31, 2013 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 52 years. Jean-Guy is survived by his parents, Willie Richard and Therese Caissie; his wife Nicole Doucette of Rogersville; his son, Kevin; brothers and sisters: Lucille of Rogersville, Ronald (Nancy Corbeil) of Longueuil, QC, Claude, Yvon (Sophie) both of Rogersville and Noëlla Richard (Kevin Main) of Campbellton; half sisters: Rose-Marie (Jean-Marc) Cloutier of St-Ignace, maternal grandmother, Zélica Caissie; mother in law, Julienne Doucette, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean-Guy was well known for being a master mechanics in the Rogersville area for many years.
Family will be receiving relatives and friends this Friday, August 2nd, at 2pm, at the Salon La Colombe, 11325 highway 126, Rogersville. Funeral service will be held at the St-Francois-de-Sales RC Church in Rogersville, Saturday, August 3rd, at 11am. Visiting hours: Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm, Saturday from 9:30 until the departure for the funeral. Donations for the Tree of Hope or the Miramichi Extra Mural program.
