Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer in the presence of his immediate family and the dedicated and compassionate staff of the PCU, Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, on August 3, 2013, David Pippy aged 84 years. Predeceased by beloved wife R. Jean (Peaty) Pippy; parents: William G and Mildred (Goobie) Pippy; brother Gerald; sister-in-law Jean (Skinner) Pippy; sister Louise M; and brother-in-law Albert Campbell. Left with loving memories, daughter Kathryn L. (Kathy) Cook; grandson Joshua W.D. (Josh) Cook; a wide circle of family and friends – including special nephew Robert Pippy and family including wife Valerie and son (and namesake) David. Special thanks to the dedicated staff of the Miller Center – Palliative Care Unit, and the Community Health Nurses who helped make his last days peaceful and comfortable.
