Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on August 3, 2013. Lewis Tucker CD (Lew, the accordion man, retired Black Watch) aged 70 years of St. Philip’s. Predeceased by Mother, Mary; Father, Alfred and brother, Leonard. Leaving to mourn loving wife of 46 years Louise; daughter, Bonnie (special friend Gordie Kennedy); son, Leonard; beloved grandson and buddy Blake; also leaving brother, Leroy; loving mother in law Eliza; brothers in law: Walter (Gert), Nath (Verniece),Bill (Rhonda); sisters in law: Mary (whom he adored)(Milt), Elsie (Hayward), Catherine (Baxter), Carol Ann (Terry), his furry friends Reece and Taffy (who he loved dearly), many more relatives and army buddies especially Jim King (Marg) and Rick Smith (Donna) of Nova Scotia, cousin and close friend Ada and Clarence Connolly, as well as other friends too numerous to mention all across Canada. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 10-12 noon. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, St.Philip’s.
