1926-2008 At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, August 22, 2008, with his family by his side, of Clifford Joseph Gaudet of Tignish Shore, age 82 years. Born February 28, 1926, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Ethel (nee Arsenault) Gaudet. Also survived by the mother of his children, Eva Myers Gaudet. Dear father to Donald of Montreal, Allan (Marlene) of Alberton, Sharon (Paul) Shea of Norway, Ivy (Steve) Band of Stratford, Rodney (Lois) of Kildare, Lorna (Dean) Vanderkay of Stratford, Rick (Twila) of Mount Denson, N.S. Loving grandfather to Colleen, Cory, Andy, Shane, Kelly Ann, Clay, Waverley, Mark, Mitchell, Nicholas, Dwayne, Adam, Matthew, Randell and step-grandchildren, Stephanie and Jonathan. He is also survived by his 20 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Arnie Gaudet of Tignish. He was predeceased by brothers and sister, Major, James, Vera and Violet. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Monday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 4 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
