Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by family, on Friday, August 22, 2008, of Louis A. (Monty) Montigny of Charlottetown in his 90th year. Veteran of the Second World War and retired CNR electrician. Much loved husband for over 64 years of Ruth (nee Hood). Dear dad of Ruth Ann Williams (George), Truro, N.S.; Richard Montigny (Marion), Charlottetown; Roger Montigny (Belinda), Stratford; and Ronald Montigny, Charlottetown. Grampie to Gina Carr (David), Paula Williams, Deneige Gaudet (Matthew), Christopher Montigny (Laura), Michael Montigny (Shannon), Kendra Montigny, Pamela Montigny (Tyson Stewart), Keane Montigny. Great-grampie to Sabrina and Anna Marie Williams and Trinity Montigny. Brother of David Montigny (Trudy), Renfrew, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 25, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
