It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Alexander Gallant announce his passing on Friday, August 9, 2013 at his family residence in Benoit’s Cove at the age of 50 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Denise; children: Tara (Bruce) Hickey and Terry (Samantha) Gallant; grandchildren: Alexander, Brayden, Kendra and Cameron; father Simon Gallant; brother Bernard (Norma) Gallant; sisters: Josephine (Bruce) Clattenburg, Jackie Gallant (Todd) and Judy Gallant; father-in-law Mark Parsons; brother-in-law Paul Davis; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Dulcie Gallant, sister Patricia Davis, special grandmother Kathleen Ozon and mother-in-law Caroline Parsons. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
