WESTVILLE - Dorothy Josephine “Dot” Taylor, 89, Westville, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 16, 2013 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow surrounded by her family.
Born in Sydney Mines, she was a daughter of the late John Alexander and Anne (Anderson) Campbell.Dorothy was a happy person who enjoyed her family and friends. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
Surviving are a daughter, Theresa(Jim) Palmer, Union Centre; granddaughters, Donna(Charles)MacDonald, Westville; Leta (A.J.)Jordan, Westville; sister, Theresa Trenholm, Sydney Mines; great-grandchildren, Krystal(Blair),Lacey (Dennis),Nicole(Ian), Allister (Jennifer)and Taylor(Harley).
Besides her parents she was predeceased, by her husband, James Taylor; companion, Alex MacLellan; and daughter, Sally Rumley; sisters, Mary White, Jen Coll; brothers, Philip Campbell, Jack Campbell, Robert “Bob” Campbell, Hector Campbell and Steve Campbell.
There will be no visitation by request. A private graveside service will be held in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bailey’s Brook at a later date.
