M. Casilda Beddow, wife of John W. Beddow for 58 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born Oct. 5, 1931, in Sydney Mines, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Vickers) Lyle.
Besides her husband, Casilda is survived by her children, Herbie (Frances), Hope (Kevin), Lucie (William), Gerald (Tina), Liam (Euphemia), Vera (Ronald), Doris (the late Cory), Jackie (Linda), Joe (the late Reberta), Casilda and Elizabeth (Ronald); sister, Sharon (Clause); brother, David (Eileen); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters, Sharon, Louise and Marilyn.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd., 634-7425, with visiting on Monday, Aug.19, 2013. from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Grand Bay-Westfield on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Augustine's Church Cemetery.
