ORAM, LETITIA (LETTIE) - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Letitia Oram which occurred on August 18, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 12, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Gosbee) Porter. She was an active member of the UCW and the Quilters Group at the Glen View United Church. Letitia is survived by her two sons Devern of Hampton, NB and Barry of Saint John, NB; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and very close family friend Susan Moleman. Along with her parents Letitia was predeceased by her husband Stanley Oram; sisters Legreta Humel, Mildred Beck, Edna White, Anne McDougal; brothers Everet Porter, Alden Porter; daughter-in-law Darlene.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday August 21, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the interment following at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in Letitia's memory can be made to the Glen View United Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
